If Gordon Hayward wants a son, he’s going to have to wait.
The Celtics star tried to act diplomatic in video his wife posted Monday, when the father of two girls got a gender reveal for his third child — who is also a girl.
A visibly bummed Hayward tried to keep a poker face as the pink balloons were released.
“Whoa, it’s a girl,” he deadpanned. After wife Robyn asked if he was happy, he offered, “Daddy’s always happy.”
Hayward’s number of children outnumbers the number of games he played in last season, as he suffered a fractured ankle just minutes into his Celtics debut.
Hayward averaged 21.9 points per game in his final season in Utah, before jumping to Boston in free agency last offseason.
